Must have a licensed driver with you the day of the procedure. You and the driver must have a picture ID with date of birth to get in the door. You will be at Womans Pavilion 2-3 hours. The driver must stay the entire time. You will have paper work to fill out, a counseling session with the physician, lab work, then the procedure. You will be sedated for the procedure, so you need to eat light that day. After the procedure you will go into recovery where you will have your blood pressure and pulse monitored until the physician feels it is safe for you to leave. Your driver will be given follow up instructions. You will be sedated for most of the day, so you will probably go home and sleep.
